Dear Society Members and Stakeholders,

It is with feelings of appreciation that we announce the resignation of Jennifer Stacey from the role of Executive Director at The Doorway. Over the past 12 months, Jennifer has done an outstanding job leading our organization. From building a strong team to increasing our reach in the community, Jennifer’s contributions to The Doorway have laid important ground work in strengthening our society in a very meaningful way. We wish to congratulate Jennifer on her new role within the housing sector where she will have continued opportunity to influence positive change in Calgary for those in need.

Building forward, our focus will be on ensuring our society’s mandate and process serving young people remains unchanged through this transition. We will be following a rigorous process to identify and recruit the right person to fill the Executive Director role. And are encouraging your input and participation as we go through this transition. We continue to be encouraged by your support and care for our community and the young people we serve.
