Financial Donations

Generous financial contributions provide vital support to our programming. We have several options for making financial donations.

E-transfer

  • Donate through bank e-transfer to donations@thedoorway.ca
  • To receive a charitable receipt, please include name, address and designation of funds.
  • A security question is not required as funds will automatically be deposited.

Cheques

  • Cheques can be dropped off or mailed to us at PO Box 46067, Inglewood RPO, Calgary, AB T2G 5H7
  • Please make cheques payable to: The Back Door or The Doorway

In-Kind Donations

Generous donations of essential items for our care kits and Community Corner are welcomed.

Each week we deliver up to 50 care packs to youth living on the streets. These Care Packs contain essential hygiene and good items for living on the street including:

  • Prepackaged snacks, such as granola bars, fruit snacks
  • Hygiene products
  • Deodorant
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Weather appropriate clothing
Generous donations of essential items for our care kits and Community Corner are welcomed.

In addition to our care packs, our Community Corner is a place for participants to access essential items including professional clothing and shoes for interviews or appointments, winter apparel, hygiene supplies and snacks.

To donate any of the items noted above or for information on other essential items you may wish to donate, please contact us to arrange a drop-off time. Items may be dropped off during business hours.
