Steps off the Street 2018 Run or Walk
It is estimated around 300 young people are accessing shelters and housing resources in our city. This number does not include the amount of young people couch surfing, renting hotels or sleeping rough without notice.
In 1988 The Doorway began its commitment to bring acknowledgment to this issue in our city and to provide an opportunity to young people to gain employment, safe housing and to plan the life they desire and are worthy of. In 2018 it is still our commitment as a community to acknowledge and impact this social issue and together it is our mission to support these young people to reach their full potential.
It is our goal for Steps off the Street to raise community awareness and fundraise $10, 000. These proceeds will enable The Doorway to support almost 6 young people for one full year at The Doorway.
Join us as either a 3K Runner or Walker or 5K runner
